Schwisow Construction spotlights Eric Philippi, who is celebrating an incredible 36 years with the company. Eric joined Schwisow shortly after high school and quickly proved himself to be a leader, becoming a foreman in 1994 and earning his first white Schwisow truck, a milestone he fondly remembers.
Eric’s work ethic is admired across the company. “Eric is extremely detail oriented and highly conscientious about his work,” says CEO Doug Blum. “He makes sure the number one priority is everyone going home safely at the end of each workday.”
Don Wilcox, VP of Field Operations, adds, “Eric has a can-do attitude on everything that gets thrown at him. His quality of workmanship is top notch, and he never wavers from that standard.”
Eric is currently leading one of the most demanding and complex projects in our recent history. Don notes that he has “been able to think outside the box to solve issues we don’t typically run into,” while Doug highlights his strong role in advancing the company’s safety initiatives.
Eric is grateful for the mentors and friendships that shaped his career and enjoys sharing the knowledge he has gained over the years. And if you know Eric well, you know his dedication doesn’t stop at construction, his KISS collection could give Gene Simmons a run for his money. Thank you, Eric, for your hard work and commitment to Schwisow Construction!
